Tinny, plasticy, strong catty urine, citruc acid, dried leaves and amonia in the nose. Flavor is strongly catty celery flavored hops, dried leaves, amonia, lemon juice, and dried lawn clippings. Can’t say I’m really digging this one, and after a full glass I’m pretty much sick of it. I think Alaskan whiffed on this one... but maybe the kind of hops they use really aren’t meant to be used in IPA, perhaps a bitter would be more suitable. Zoob (84), Bakersfield, California, USA

I have had this beer at the brewery and at the Hanger in Juneau. It showed slight differences in the two kegs. The beer is made well and tasty. It is a very low hopped IPA with some citrus up front and spicyness in the finish. I would have it again and again. If you want a BIG IPA this is not it, but this may gain some transition drinkers to bigger beers. It will be interesting to taste in bottle and watch quality control. bu11zeye (5621), Frisco, Texas, USA

Nose is really weak and maltish, not very IPA at all to me. Taste is clean but bland, not real flower/hoppiness that I like in an IPA. Finish is again clean but nothing happens worth noting. hopdog (5611), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Aromas of citrus, orange peel, and somewhat floral. Tastes of citrus, floral and a touch of caramel thrown in. Thinner body. Bockyhorsey (2552), Mesa, Arizona, USA

Decent ipa aroma and flavor were the the same a medium citrus and noticed a touch of some toast. Refreshing brew would be good with dinner at a brew pub imo.
