I personally like a bit more of the hoppy bite found in some of the other Northwest IPAs. It is a good sesion beer though. Easy to drink. ChazMania (414), Pasadena, California, USA

Maybe I just bought an old 6pack? Mild bitterness but I don’t detect the citrus on this at all. I bought it as it was on sale and I had not tried it before. I should have spent the extra 2-3 bucks for some GreenFlash or Lagunitas. greig (172), Hamilton, New Zealand

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 21, 2007 Bottle: Pours a clear golden color with orange hues. A large white head lasts a while and some sticky lacing. The aroma is very solid; a blend of citrus, floral, and piney hops. Taste is a bit lacking. The hop intensity is rather moderate, some malty sweetness and a twinge of lager. It tastes more like a half-n-half of IPA and pale lager. The taste simply doesn’t follow the nose. Pours a clear, golden amber with a 2 finger off white head. Faint aromas of pine and grapefruit. Flavor was semi sweet with a light bitterness on the finish. A fairly weak IPA. yemenmocha (421), Glendale, Arizona, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Sep 18, 2009 Pours pale golden color with moderate sized white head. In the glass you might mistake it for a macro lager in terms of color.
Nose is prickly grapefruit and lemon, but overall on the lighter side. Very subdued.
On the palate a more balanced malt/hop balance is apparent for an IPA, with nothing too extreme going on. Perhaps this is more of a traditional IPA than "American" IPA.
Finish is dry with pine. Easy drinking IPA. theisti (1684), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 11, 2007 12 oz. bottle from Albertson’s in Burien, WA. Pour is clear golden with a one inch white head and some lasting carbonation bubbles. Aroma of dirt and some resin pine hops. Not terribly pronounced. Taste is actually not that great. I had hoped for more, but this tastes pretty much like any IPA you would have at a run of the mill brew pub. cyanescens (156), Seattle, Washington, USA
