Pours a translucent golden copper with a medium bubbly white head that left some lacing. Aroma of some fresh hops with citrus, some banana, flavor and some caramel malt. Flavor of citrus, floral and some more of that banana/clove. Did they use some hefe yeast in this IPA? Also got some cereal grains, a decent hop bitterness followed by a nice malty graininess. Smooth with a medium body. Hop driven flavors here are tart grapefruit and floral resin. Not much malt presence, but just enough to carry the medium intense hop flavors and offer a lightly sweet balance to the brew. Finishes tastefully bitter. Love the global warming inspired surfer on the label. 6157 jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jun 28, 2007 Bottle... Poured a slightly hazy, still transparent, dark orange with a frothy, white head. Hop and malt aroma.. Typical IPA palate with flavors of strong, beefy, earthy hops up front, followed by a smooth malt finish. With other sweet and floral arrangements of flavors in between. Very crisp and refreshing, but somewhat mellow. GMCC2181 (883), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 18, 2009 Bomber - great nose, crisp pine with some citrus (lemon?) - tastes as it smells, but a bit more subdued and a little watery. Solid IPA, nothing special, but I felt like having another immediately, so bonus points for that and the price. bsjay (54), Oregon, USA
