Apr 5, 2007 Nice bouquet of floral hops and grass. Light gold in color with a nice white ehad and lots of effervesence. Some sweet and sour malts are accompanied by modest bitterness - citric and grass. Slight dryness on the swallow. A little thin but quite a quaffer.

Jun 28, 2007 Aroma is hoppy - I say floral and citrus. Golden amber color with a white head that filmed and left lacey tatters. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Floral, citrusy fruity hop. The malt is hardly in it - but call it light caramel. The finish is so nicely bitter, with floral, fruit, pine and a small hit of citrus. This is way underrated. Trust me. Minor point: can light pine resemble floral/citrus? I’m torn on that. Bottom line: good stuff.

Dec 27, 2007 Looks like a pilsner, clear gold, white head, nice hoppy flavor and aroma. At $2.79 per bomber, it’s a pretty good deal.

Jan 14, 2008 This India Pale Ale pours a deep orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is citrusy and floral, very fresh. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and grapefruity. It seems to be more hop forward than it used to be, but I have no notes and am going from an old memory here. Decent balance. This beer is hoppy without being over the top or over aggressive. Lively carbonation. It’s a touch grassy in the finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is dry and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

May 10, 2007 Aroma was grainey hop ,followed by a little grapefruit rind and pine needle, lighter body ,hop dominated flavor,I didn’t get the caramel malt balance that everyone else was tasting,this brew had an overabundace of bittering hops, so bitter at the finish,there was almost an acedic sourness to it,the beer is to light for that much bitterness. After I put the glass down ,my mouth tasted like I had been sucking on a lemon rind

Jun 5, 2009 Bottle (in NZ), pours orange gold with a filmy head. Strong hop aroma of juicy fruit. Plenty of hops on the palate, deliciously citrus and moreish, with an earthy finish.

Sep 13, 2006 On tap at Brouwer’s hop fest. Light copper. Nice hop taste is not at all over the top. Tasty, a good NW drinking IPA.
