Still with fruity and citrusy hops, this beer is quite floral. Lighter in color than many of the NW style India pales. a nice frothy white head with little lacing but a clean finish and a subtle hop aroma and finish makes for an almost session-worthy bomber. Malty presence is there, but overall, what a nice well-balanced brew! jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 9, 2007 22 oz. bomber bottle, freshness date in the lower left hand corner of the label, sampled in an imperial pint glass.
Poured a clear bright golden copper with a nice size foamy white head that slowly settled into a thin sudsy lacing, minimal amount of laced sticking. Plentiful supply of flowing tiny micro bubbles going from the bottom of the glass to the top.
Tamed hoppiness in the nose, floral, fruity and citrus zesty, the dry hopping is not that noticeable. A light backing from the sweet pale malts.
At first I wasn’t that impressed by the taste, but it is growing on me, especially as it slowly warms. Nice and mild northwest hoppiness, fruity, citrus zesty along with a tastes of candied citrus peel and a leafy hop oil stickiness on the tongue. Not a taste bud killer, but does have a hop prickliness in the palate. Soft backbone from the pale sugary, dry biscuit maltiness. Velvety moderate bodied feel, firm from the carbonation, goes down easy, quite consumable.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 30, 2008 A soft cold pour produces a tall head that slowly subsides leaving sticky snail tracks and textbook lacing. Aromas of fresh cut citrus rind. Full nectar w/ low carbonation creating an almost oily texture. Wonderfully balanced and hop forward, the malt factors in perfectly never becoming sweet. Theres a tasty candy necklace component that peaks my interest. Fresh and fruity, bright and delicious. The finish is bittered well and lingers w/ fruit. A nice specimen on the mellow side. Nose of floral hops; light copper with a small white head; flavor of medium hop bitterness with some pininess, the bitterness lasting into the finish. Good underrated IPA! | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 11, 2007 Golden color, no haze. Off-white head. Nicely floral hoppy nose, but nothing that smacks you about. Taste is well, IPA light is my first impression. At least for a West Coast IPA. Would fall closer into normal in the rest of the US.
Light, slightly sweet and easy to drink. Sure as hell beats mowing the lawn. jeremytoni (1122), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

The carbonation is made up of tiny bubbles and appears to be pretty tame. Some above average lacing is also present. The aroma is citrus and pine hops with some toffee malt in the background. The flavor has some sweet toffee maltiness with a moderate level of citrus, pine, and floral hop bitterness. This beer has a medium body with a soft, smooth texture. This is a well balanced IPA that has a good hoppy flavor and a mellow palate. A pleasure to drink!

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 13, 2009 22oz bottle for $3.49 which is quite a rare price for a bomber these days. the first whiff of the bottle is instant grassy hops. It smells slightly more subdued in the glass. The color is yellow and the beer is quite clear. the flavor has some mild bitterness but not the hoppiness I expected after smelling the beer. Overall, not bad but given the quality of IPA’s these days it will be hard for this to compete.
