Aroma is a nice sweet maltiness. A little but of fruit, perhaps a tangerine or an apricot is around too. Light gold color with no head. Flavor is sweet light malt, a cereal kind of flavor, and light fruit. Finishes light and crisp. A nice blonde ale really being that this style is fairly bland and boring.

Clear gold, no head, no lace. Floral hops and sweet malt, not especially interesting nose. Thin in the mouth. Not much happening, some citrus, not much malt bakcground, not much bitterness. Maybe by the time the beer goes from Alaska to Philadelphia it loses some of its charm. Drain pour now.

12oz bottle. Filtered with a golden honey hue. Spiraling white head. Citrusy cereal nose. Slightly toasty with touch of a perfumy note. Medium bodied with nice zesty citrus effervescence. Off dry with big citrus hop finish. Nice bitterness. Tingling finish. Good drinking. Slight honey note. cereal grainy malts. Lightly roasted. Tasty.

8/12/2007: Alaskan Pale Golden Ale is golden in color with a foamy off-white head that leaves one ring of lacing. The lightly sweet aroma is somehwhat floral with notes of honey and some faint citrus. The flavor is soft, slightly sweet, and has a toasted maltiness with a gentle fruity (citrus) and mildly floral bitterness. This beer has a medium-light to medium body. It is smooth and mellow on the palate. This is a solid Golden Ale that could easily be consumed and enjoyed in large quanities!

12 fl oz bottle (L A082007) from bitbucket. Thanks again Bob! Rating #151 for this beer...

12oz bottle from irishboy! - thanks richard! - Pours golden with a fair white head that stays well. Aromas of nice citrus hops.. Lots of centennials there I pick up. Flavor is lots of tangerine, some caramel, a good amount of pine as well. Well balanced, easy drinking and quite refreshing. Not bad at all.
