Bottle courtesy IrishBoy via trade. The pour was amber colored, took this to be an English Pale based on appearance and flavor. Head was generous, good lacing. The aroma was toffee, caramel, light tea bags. The flavor followed suit, fairly balanced, but I don’t love the tea bag flavors / slight roasted toffee. Mouthfeel was fairly malty for a blonde ale, right on for an English pale, although more slanted to malts than hops. A light beer appropriate for the summer. Thanks for the trade, Richard, a nice bonus!!!

This is a pretty good beer with, light head, light hops, light malty flavor that is smooth with a decent after taste. I wish it had less crisp and more hops in the flavor, then it would be a great beer instead of a good beer.

Bottled. Beer is slightly hazy medium gold with a small, white, frothy, quickly diminishing head.
Malty with a trace of grain; Moderate hop note of resin/pine, light note of fruity citrus; Trace of yeasty basement.
The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly/moderately acidic, lightly bitter with a long, moderately acidic, lightly/moderately bitter, lightly/moderately sweet finish.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively-to-fizzy.
Interesting for the style.

Bottle (A070507). Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, grapefruit, resin). Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Nice balance for the style (good amount of bittering). Bright hop character but overall simple aroma. Good.

12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquor - Pours a clear golden color with a 3/4 finger thick off white head. Fine, lively carbonation. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is grassy hops and toasted grain. Has a semi-sweet toasted malt flavor. Medium body. A very nice Golden ale.

Draught > Sidewinders, Jackson Hole, WY. Eeeeh, OK but not great. Great lacing and an easy drinker but a little weak.

Had this one at the Seattle airport on tap. Poured a dark golden yellow with almost no head which was a let down. Hoppy and with obvious hints of lemon in the aroma and taste it was definitely sweet for a pale. That’s OK with me as I find most American brewers over hop their ales. Finishes short and tasty. Very drinkable.
