| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 24, 2007 Bottle. Pours a lighter gold color than other Pale Ales and doesn’t taste or smell as citrusy as others as well. Not a bad beer, just not a good one. Disapointed. bitbucket (2034), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 20, 2007 Bottle. Pours a lightly hazy gold with a thin but lacy white head. Nice, full fruit and citrus hop aroma with a bit of toffee behind it. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Lightly sweet toffee and citrus taste that gives in to a bit of pine in a crisp finish. Hoo-boy would this be sessionable. weebs (17), USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 15, 2007 Not your typical Pale Ale. In fact, it’s a big misleading and that’s a dissapointment. Citrusy, it’s basically a summer ale packaged as a pale ale. Weak hops and mild flavor. Dissapointing effort from Alaskan. irishsnake (353), Oakland, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 11, 2007 beer pours a beautiful deep gold with amber/orange hi-lights, with a big fluffy white head that yields slowly to glass-drenching sheets of lace. nose is also very nice - sweet toasty malt sugars rolled in orange peel, with maybe a hint of sulfer in the back. after the sweetness in the nose, the flavor is suprisingly tart and hoppy, and the body itself is rather thin and dry. sort of incongruent after the richness of the nose, but a plus for drinkability. goes down great, leaving a mellow hop glow as it passes. bhensonb (4278), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 17, 2006 Aroma of citrusy hop, perhaps a hint of pine. Tarnished brass color with a substantial head that sticks. Even a bit a lacing. Starts with a soft citrus character, decent mouthfeel, might be a hint of sweetness in the middle, but all ends well with a light persisting bitterness. beervana (781), Libertyville, Illinois, USA

Fruity toasted malt aroma. Poured clear deep golden yellow with small white head. Soft carbonation. Light-to-medium bodied ale that starts dry with toasted malt/corn flavors. Finished dry and clean with light bitterness. A very good drinkable ale. iamsancho16 (99), USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 17, 2006 This is a fantastic Pale Ale. The Alaskan Brewing Company sure does know how to make a great beer, and this is no exception. If you want a good pale, give this one a try.
