Citric hops at crack of bottle but yields to a more malty aroma. Palate is subtle with hops in the middle with malty start and finish. much more malty than i was expecting. Some lingering hops in the finish. Very dry! good golden ale. JoeMcPhee (5000), Jackson Heights, New York, USA

Very little obvious hop aroma, but the flavour was still well-balanced. Piney hops and a crisp finish. A good pale ale. Falconseye8 (525), Cartersville, Georgia, USA

I’ve wondered why this one hasn’t received more kudo’s from reading reviews. As a taster its the best blonde I’ve had. Citrusy, sweet, little hoppy presense. It gets your attention. This is liquid gold. After having consumed I’m surprised its not rated higher than it already is. Jayson2425 (167), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 20, 2004 Crystal clear golden hue with large bubbles that produced a fizzy small head and some lace. The aroma hints of honeycomb, mild caramel, earthy yeast esters, floral hops, and apple. The taste is malty and somewhat sweeter than expected. A dash of fruity and mildly bitter hops come through in the middle. The short finish displays some acidic and earthy character, lingering mild bitterness. The mouthfeel is lively, clean and crisp. Thin has expected from the style. Overall this is a quaffable beer with no real outstanding or bad quality. Middle of the road stuff. Thanks Jeff for bringing all those Alaskan beers back those months ago. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 14, 2004 Appearance: clear, light golden hue, with a fine, white layer of foam.
Aroma: fresh, yeasty, fruity, citric, arousing and appetizing.
Taste: a tidy hop introduction starts it off, fading into the background with a quickness. Bright and tasty, brisk, crisp, but ultimately mild. Brief, delicate finish. Well-rounded flavor, light body.
An excellent session ale, goes down ultra-easy.
