Fairly forgettable. pilotui (1), Yukon, Oklahoma, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Mar 6, 2008 One of the few classic beers which has not diminished in palate or aroma. Pours light gold, with a distinct flavor of malt and vanilla. Very smooth aftertaste good with anything KUEric (635), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 24, 2008 A very plesant beer. This wasn’t mind blowing but everything was slightly better than I expected culminating in a very good beer, one of the better sessions. A doughy aroma, and a citrus flavor dominate the senses. But there was more to be had in this beer, a slightly bitter/sour finish was an unexpected touch as was the gentle caramel flavor in a blonde. elektrogeist (158), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 18, 2008 As always, excellent quality of product from Alaskan Brewing. Light bready and sweet maltiness that lingers in the mouth and the nose. Flavorful yet easy to drink as a session beer. I’d say the malt/hop balance is perfect, I want the recipe! ;) troopie (909), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 19, 2008 Bottle. Poured pale amber, almost like a pilsener, with a white head. Not much aroma, but what there is is a nice maltiness. Light malty body with a naartjie note. Dry hop finish. This is low enough in alcohol to be a session beer, or to have at lunch before going back to work. BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 18, 2008 Bready maltiness with some grassy hop notes. There is a bit of a honey like sweetness, but overall just a really basic beer, that is almost like not drinking a beer at all. Not filling in the slightest. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 15, 2008 Pours a transparent deep golden bronze with a spotty, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly toasted pale malts with a touch of grapefruity hops. Body starts with good malty sweetness well-balanced with a fresh piny hoppiness toward a slightly drier, crisp bittersweet finish. A pretty good APA.
