| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 15, 2008 Pours a transparent deep golden bronze with a spotty, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly toasted pale malts with a touch of grapefruity hops. Body starts with good malty sweetness well-balanced with a fresh piny hoppiness toward a slightly drier, crisp bittersweet finish. A pretty good APA. JorisPPattyn (5192), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 19, 2006 Pale amber-gold, fully clear; with a medium, just off-white head. Bit of iodium nose, seaweed, pale malts, peanuts. High restsweetness, high grain level. I think "crisp" is the word, with means usually not enough hops, and often adjuncts; There’s hops here, but they are not really assertive. Restsugars give lots of slickness, nearly cloying. Not their best offering IMO.
