Picked up single 12-oz bottle at John’s Marketplace in Portland, OR. Pours a clear golden pale brew with a slow dissolving white head that has good lacing. Aroma of light bready malt, citrusy hops and a touch of grapefruit. Taste is light to medium bodied, some carbonation with a light bready and grapefruit flavor. Finish is slightly bitter but quickly disappears. One of the lighter pale ales I’ve tried but still a good session beer.

Aug 17, 2008 Clear, bright brassy orange-golden. Lively aroma of stonefruits (peaches mostly) and clean pale malt. Crisp pale malt palate with a subtle and refreshing fruity hop finish of moderate bitterness. Very nice, and extremely sessionable!

Aug 12, 2008 Draft at Safeco. Rust brown color with an aroma of biscuit malt, grains, and some bitterness. Very little head. Some caramel mixed with peppery hops and a touch of sourness. Nice warm weather beer, but don’t let it get too warm...the sourness was far stronger and not so pleasant when it got warm.

Aug 4, 2008 Smallish head, pleasant golden color, mild nose, malty flavors with a bit of hop, light mouthfeel. Nice summer type ale.

Jul 9, 2008 7/9/08 From the bottle. Aroma is bit different, and seems like a blend on noble and PNW hops balanced by bready malt. Appearance is clear yellow with a fairly well maintained white head. Flavor is sweet malt forward, with very slight sour breadiness. Hops are again hints of both PNW and noble hops, with medium bittering that evenly balances the malt. mouthfeel is low bodied with a medium carb texture. Overall, not bad, but not excellent. May need to be a bit stronger flavored in some areas. Still, a quite easy drinking pale ale.

Jun 15, 2008 bottle. golden pour with bubbled white head. light hops, citrus and sweet malt aroma. above average carbonation provides a lively mouth. sweet and light hops. light lemon and hint of spice.
