Hazy grapefruity pink, thin white head. Juicy raspberry aroma, fresh and a little dusty. Concentrated, not jammy. Sweet and tart, clean, slick and refreshing. Very reminiscent of fresh fruit.

Pint at the Hanger on the Wharf overlooking the Juneau harbour listening to Alt Nation on the bar satelite radio. Red tinted orange. Lasting thin layer of white foam. Soft raspberry wheat scent. Zesty and refreshing. Still retains the yeasty character of a wheat beer. Long raspberry finish and aftertaste. Decent fruit beer.

On tap @ Humpy’s. Red/gold with a small head. Aroma of raspberries and wheat, as it should I suppose. The flavor was mostly sweet but not overly sweet like some fruit beers. Medium to light bodied with a slightly tart, dry finish. I’m not a huge fan of fruit beers but this one was pretty good, maybe just because it wasn’t too sweet.

Hazy red orange color with an off white head. Nice aroma is sweet tart raspberry pulp with tart wheat. Medium body with a prickly mouthfeel. Flavor is lightly sweet n’ tart, fresh raspberry with mwlty wheat husk. Drys out some in the finish. Very refreshing fruit brew. Draft@ Humpys.

First and only fruit beer that didn’t taste like a beer with fruit juice added to it
