Thanks to Saarlander for this one via Mystery Swap 2.0. Pours onyx with a 1-finger tan head. Aroma of roasted dark patent malt, dark fruit, cacao, slight nuts, molasses. Tastes roasty, malty, with some blackberry, raisin, nut, molasses, dark chocolate, and finishing hops. Stays roasty, and seems to get a tad drier as it warms, with more plum and blackberry notes then.

12 oz. bottle from Saarlander, thanks Aaron. roasted malt and some caramel on the nose with a similar flavor plus some chocolate and citrus hops on the finish. palate seems a bit thin, but overall while there’s nothing special to separate this stout from the horde of others, it’s an easy drinker.

Dark pour, with a nice tan head. Damn smooth beer, lightly roasted, with hints of chocolate, abit thin, but well balanced, very good effort, enjoyable.

12 oz bottle. Pours dark brown with thin tan head. Light aroma was precursor to the light drink ahead. Very nice roasted malt with light chocolate. Perfectly balanced, perfectly smooth. A very nice stout.

Bottle: Nice dark brown, near opaque. Medium tan long -asting head. Smells of roast malt with chocolate or coffee. Tastes somewhat roasted with definate chocolate flavors. Perfect bitterness. Feels pretty thick on the palate, but not chewy. More of a nice creamy coating.

Bottle: Very dark brown pour with large, frothy tan head and some moderate lacing. Literally looks like a perfect sweet stout. Nose is malt, light coffee, and roastiness. Taste is a very well balanced medley of cocoa, coffee, roasted malt, and molasses. No outstanding flavors, but a basic stout blend that is extremely well done.

12oz bottle- Dark tan in colour with minimal tan head. Aromas of chocolate and caramel. Medium body with a light coffee and roasty flavor. I was expecting more from this great brewery but would still drink it again.

12oz bottle from Degarth! - Thanks Joe! - Pours black with a short tan head that stays well and leaves some lace. Aromas of light roasted malts and a touch of chocolate. Flavor is roasted malts, slight chocolate, and some nuts. Palate is light bodied for a stout and pretty airy... A slight disappointment for me but still I’m glad I got to try it!
