Steib (538), Queen Creek, Arizona, USA Jun 29, 2006 Light straw color well carbonated. Sweet malt aroma, very grassy. A light grainy flavor. A little bitter and acidic. Mellow fairly smooth on the aftertaste. A quaffable beer nothing great.
illidurit (478), Santa Cruz, California, USA Nov 20, 2008 Poured into a cylinder glass. Clear yellow gold with a small off-white head. Aroma is light German pale malts with a hint of stone fruit. Flavor is toasty sweet malt, soft unacidic citrus, and a light grassy Hallertau zest. Good carbonation, light body, clean finish, high drinkability. Not very complex or interesting, just solid and summery. Does what it ought to do: refresh. Beardface (237), Eugene, Oregon, USA Oct 20, 2008 Sour smell, wheaty, malty flavor and an unattractive pour. Very grainy mouthfeel, almost some grit to it. Just overall not very good. can8ianben (660), Pasadena, California, USA Sep 22, 2008 Kind of threw me off that a brewery would make a "summer beer" that wasn’t a wheat style, rather a German Kolsch, but they crafted a pretty tasty beer here. I drank it out of the bottle, which I’m sure shaped what I was tasting a little bit, but oh well. Faint aroma of sawdust and sweet/sour mashed grain. Crisp bite on the palate. Refreshing, yet heavier than I may have hoped. anders37 (2792), Malmö, Sweden Sep 20, 2008 Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a clear pale golden color with a small white head. Has a malty grainy aroma. Crisp malty slightly grainy flavor. Has a malty grainy finish. mabel (1710), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 15, 2008 [1637-20080830] 355mL bottle. Grains aroma. Clear, light brown orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Grainy light malt flavour. Light-medium body. Nice to try.
