In an effort to knock out the rest of my backlog, my ratings will be fairly generic and sparse. If the beer had anything special to offer, it will be noted following this disclaimer. Thanks to Cheeseman. Very good ice cider. Surprising. Concentrated apples, cinnamon and vanilla. Delicious.

Nice orange-gold color with some heavy legs. Aroma is a nice, sweet apple & sugar mix with some honey notes. Flavor has a nice viscous apple mix with some light acidity, brown sugar, and honey. Very good, but can’t quite match up to the Canadian versions.

375 ml shared by TheCheeseman at CPLYFO 09. Pours a nice light orange clear and still. Aroma is pungent with sweet ripe apples - cidery, some honey, and lightly floral with a slight orange zest to it. Flavor is nicely sweet very powerful- with a modest acidity to cut through it, and becomes almost a slight bit sharp- honey and a cooked apple character- and very smooth in the finish. Reminded me a lot of Niege, and for $15 seems like a good deal to me- Ill try to buy more when I see it.

Great stuff. Holy shit, this came from my home state? My first thoughts was this is quite good, but it definately had a different flavor profile compared to Canadian ice ciders. Great nonetheless. This has nothing to do with my rating score but at $16 a bottle, it doesn’t hit your wallet as hard as its Canadian counterparts. Very sweet and luscious.

gold pour with no head just perfect legs. nose is apples, alcohol, pears and vanilla. very thick with a sweet flavor that reminds me more of pear than apple. the finish is not as sweet and very easy on the way down. no way could this really be almost 12% abv.

This was my 100th rating courtesy of Bman1113vr and shared with him. Pours a beautiful gold color, and has excellent legs on it. Sweet alcohol aroma, with apples and honey blossom notes. Delicious and smooth apply flavor, with a hint of citrus. hides the 11.6 ABV very well. Overall, a great ice cider!

Bottle… C&P’sLYFO ThrowdownThis cider rocks!… Yellow and clear, leaving millipede-like legwork. The aroma is hearty and sweet – baked, spiced apples come to mind. Full-bodied with a syrupy mouthfeel. Starts off sweet and fruity and then the sweetness just intensifies the longer this liquid gold is on my palate. And then continues even after the swallow. A crescendo of sweetness building up to a climax fifteen seconds after the cider leaves my mouth? You bet! Slowly, the sweetness descends to a nicely acidic, tangy dryness. Freakin’ ice cider from Jersey? I want more! Big THANKS to TheCheeseMan for sharing his bottle of this world class ice cider! * * Video = http://homepage.mac.com/maltajo/RATEBEER/iMovieThe

Courtesy TheCheeseMan. An ice cider from New Jersey? Say what? Well, at least that’s what I thought before I tried it. Turns out this stuff is damn good. The pour is a clear medium golden color that yields thick, syrupy legging on the glass. Aromas are concentrated, as they should be, showing a dessert like sweet and zesty apple reduction with traces of lemon peel acidity and vanilla. The flavor follows suit, simple yet extremely effective in its concentrated, zippy-sweet apple goodness. Thick, viscous, and syrupy in the mouth, even the palate stands up to some of the better examples of the style. Watch out Canada!
