Pale yellow-gold; slightly irregular small head. Very dry grainy nose. Dry, again very grainy taste, tastes nearly completely attenuated. Unfortunately, then a little wet hay flavour comes up, getting bitter, and as rotting wood. Light MF, but caustic. Terrible aftertaste, like wet, rotting cardboard. DIRTY wet rotting cardboard. Starts off pretty good. But then...

25cl, from De Bierloods Adegem, not complex brew, yet refreshing, not balanced, clear, good head, nothing special

Bottled 25cl as "Setberg Pils" (Bs, BB 11/2009). Pale yellow color, small white head. Slightly buttery nose with hints of grain, iron and lime. Crisp carbonation. Very light palate. Flavor is mainly maize and citrus. Refreshing, but too close to "light beers".

(Bottle 25 cl) Pale golden with a fine, creamy head. Flowery hop-aroma, medium body with a decent maltiness. Just a cheap pils, but not really any worse than the premium brands. And it has indeed a fair quenching effect. 010698

I keep telling myself "don’t buy beers you know they are going to be bad or tasteless". I and keep doing it sometimes somehow. This is a very good example. Grain and metallic bitterness.

Bottled. A light golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with a citrusy and cardboardy notes. The flavor is sweet with notes of cardboard and a bit citrus, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Can. Aroma of old, flat lager. Flavour is a bit sweet and slightly fruity. Weak bitter aftertaste.

Trade with Fonefan. It is golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of grain, malt and light flower. The flavour has a light sweetness and a slightly dry citrus and notes of malt, grain and a dry, light bitterness in the finish. It is pretty boring.
