From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden deep orange to brown with a small white head. Mild orange/mango fruity aroma. Flavour is bitter, crisp and sharp fruity. Distinct hoppy fruity flavoured. Light sharpness in the finish. Ends dry yet with a fruity impression.

On tap at Alcatraz in Orange, CA, it’s no secret as to which beer this is taking a poke at... It’s got more malt and balance than its namesake and was pretty tasty.

On tap. Clear, dark amber golden with an off-white head. Sweetish burned caramel and hops in the aroma. Good body of solid roasted malts and burned caramel with a good hop kick in the finish. 050709
