Feb 11, 2007 From the tap it poured aclear amber body with an off-white head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is a fruity malt with a touch of caramel and a slight herbal bitterness. Medium-bodied, the fruits are clearly apple in flavor, the caramel becomes chewy, and some earthiness is added to balance it out. May 31, 2006 Draft sampler at Indy. Poured clear medium amber with an average frothy white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Light malty citrus aroma. Light to medium body with a watery texture. Light sweet flavor with a light sour finish of moderate duration.

Jan 7, 2008 Tap @ the brewpub. Poured a clear orange-copper color with an off-white head. Nutty and toasty malt with mild citrus notes. Light fruity caramel with a hint of citrus. Light to medium body.

Aug 9, 2004 This draft brew from the brewery poured a medium sized head of finely sized mostly lasting off-white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body was transparent softly carbonated and copper brown in color. It had a mild red malt aroma. The mouth feel was smooth and somewhat tingly with a red malt flavor that mellowed in the finish.

Jan 12, 2009 Tap at Anaheim. Pours a translucent amber with a medium creamy off white head that laced. Aroma of caramel, toffee and mixed citrus. Flavor of caramel, toffee, grapefruit, pine and ligtly toasted malt.
