tap at Mad Anthony Oktoberfest - Pours clear dark amber with a thin head. It has a very mild malt aroma. The flavor is caramel malt with just a touch of hops. It has a good light hops and caramel finish. The overall result is a decent session brew.

clear dark red, fine dirty white head, lots of spidery lace, light toasted and chocolate aroma, rich chocolate malt flavor, hint of roasted, nice nutty character, earthy hops keep it mostly dry with just a bit of sweetness coming through, light lingering bitter finish keeps some of the nutty character,

Very clingy, thin beige head, watery cola colored. Yeasty, milky aroma. Tangy, amateurish, overbrewed hops, out of balance. No nuts, no fruit. Like water that’s been run through an old coffee filter. Their red actually came off as a better brown.

Tried this in the sampler tray on the patio at thier Anaheim location. Not as malty as most. Good head on it. Rather enjoyed it.

Draft at Indy location. Rediish brown with medium off-white head. Well balanced aroma and medium flavor of malt, coffee and small hops. Medium texture with short finish.

Clouded dark brown apearance, craemy head (nitrogen). Chocolaty coffee aroma. Sweet chocolate nutty flavor, slight bitterness and fruitiness in the finish.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of medium sized mostly lasting off-white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body was transparent softly carbonated and dark ruby red brown in color. It had a medium strength malt hop aroma with a mild brown note. The mouth feel was smooth and somewhat flat with a mild lingering malt finish that was mildly tingly. The flavor contained notes of malt and hops.

Utterly delicious! Rather sweet and mild with probably not much alcohol. I could drink gallons of this stuff. Not a hop in sight. Fantastic! Quite malty. Looking forward to more during 2005's annual Indy pilgrimage.
