Alcatraz Boogieman Belgian Brown Ale

on tap-pours a light tan head and orange/brown color. Aroma is clove, sweet medium malt-brown sugar. Taste is clove, sweet medium malt-brown sugar, secondary hops bite, some tart medium fruit, yeast.

POured a dark brown color with a small off white head. Aroma was pretty spicey with hints of nuttyness. Flavor was a bit dry, some belgian yeast spice, and some sweet nutty malts. Not too bad.

Draft at Indy brewpub. Poured clear dark brown hue with average rocky off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt and dark fruit aroma. Flavor was moderate to heavy fruity sweet with an moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Medium smooth body with a sticky texture. Good brew.
