I’m not sure what makes this Imperial since at 7% ABV, it is only .5% stronger than the "regular" Saison that’s currently on tap. It’s got an orange/amber body with an initially impressive head that’s quickly reduced to a ring around the glass. There’s a soft banana aroma backed by peppery spices and soft fruits. A mild tartness comes out in the flavor and the spices seems more lively. The finish has a lingering herbal bitterness to it. Interesting and drinkable.
