I notice this is retired and he rated it almost two years ago so I guess this was in his cellar a while. Held up fine, as it poured a clear amber with small tan head and light lacing. Nose was of caramel malts . Light mouthfeel. Flavor was lightly bitter as was t the finish. Cool bottle, and someone should purchase the name and artwork and bring this back. marcus (1853), Sacramento, California, USA

Near medium bodied with creamy carbonation. Starts with lightly roasted caramel, followed by some decent floral hop. As the sweet disipates in the finish, a nice amount of bitter cradles the tongue. Makes me think ESB. Well done, considering this seems to be a beer to sell to the tourists. [Probably by the bottle, as the six pack was white with blue block letters].
