stefanje (937), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA Oct 24, 2009 On tap at the Orange CA, bar. Copper pour with a small white head. The nose was mixed citrus (oranges and grapefruit) with a hint of caramel. The flavor was more of the same, plenty hops manifesting a character of oranges and lemons set in a caramel backdrop. The palate was a bit thin and extra fizzy, fizzy almost to the point of distraction. This was the only real negative. The finish was short and clean. Overall: In a blind tasting I might have guessed that this was an IPA, very well done, thanks Orange crew. drowland (1360), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 14, 2009 Had on tap while visiting my brother. Big floral/citrus hops, but something is off... not all that enjoyable. yespr (11615), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 22, 2009 From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Light citrusy and crisp hoppy aroma. Flavour is mild fruity and crisp hoppy. Bitter and crisp bitter finish. JohnC (2227), Mission Viejo, California, USA Jul 21, 2009 On tap in Orange, CA. Very lightly hopped and crisp, this was a bit of a thirst quencher IPA. BBB63 (4198), La Porte, Indiana, USA Jul 19, 2009 IBGF 2009: Light coppery hue with an okay head and lace. The aroma has notes of bready and caramel malts, grassy and citric hops, and a touch of mineral water. The taste starts with sweet malts and the hop are noticeable but a background player. Moderate hop spice and citric twang throughout. The mouth feel is a tad chalky but fairly good for the style. An okay brew but nothing to make a trip for. Papsoe (14615), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 19, 2009 On tap. Clear, deep golden with a small white head. Aroma of caramel and some peachy hops. Medium-bodied, some caramel notes and a fairly solid hop finish. 050709 kassner (429), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 28, 2009 Amber in color with nice lacing on Tap in Indy. This Pale Ale was sweeter than most , but lt passes quickly, with straight dry hops in the middle to a clean finish. Aroma was not noticeably a big play. TomDecapolis (3127), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 12, 2009 On tap at Anaheim. Pours a translucent golden with copper notes and a smaller off white head that laced. Aroma of light citrus, caramel and cereal grains. Flavor of mixed citrus, pine, caramel and doughy.
