This was kind of like drinking an even blending of liquified corn flakes and wheat flakes, although the aroma consists of flakes of the crunchable kind. Unfiltered they say, but it’s a clear yellow with a frothy head. I prefer my cereal to be crunchy.

Sep 1, 2008 on tap-pours a retaining thin white head and hazy yellow color. Aroma is musty grain/wheat. Taste is musty grain/wheat, slight (off) fruit.

Aug 22, 2008 Poured a light hazy yellow with a big white head. Aroma was of wheat and maybe some coriander, hard to pick out much. Flavor was very watery and hollow just a plain wheat taste, but just too weak.

Jun 28, 2008 On tap at the Anaheim location. This was, without doubt, the least impressive of those I sampled. Faint banana, malt, and lemon. Hazy pale yellow without a head. Flavor is watered down and one-dimensional, with banana overwhelming the palate. Just not very good.

May 7, 2008 Not terribly impressed with this one. Tastes like the Golden Ale with wheat instead of corn. Not really for anyone who has had or who really likes wheat beers, but probably a good intro-to-wheat beer for a macro lover. Just not much here I liked.
