Gusler (2656), Tucson, Arizona, USA Sep 22, 2000 Excellent ’Weiss’ beer, and a Paulaner, but a really great beer. Wheat and malt at the front and a dry hop bitter finish, I like mine without the lemon. Don’t want anything to interefere with the taste of this magnificent beer. burgerlicious (308), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA May 12, 2003 cloudy appearance typical of weiss beers. fairly typical taste as well, not too bad, but nothing incredibly special. not as good as alcatraz's red though. riversideAK (1755), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jan 24, 2008 Tap at Orange location. Pours a hazy yellow with a little head. Same aroma as the Raspberry Wheat except there is no raspberry. Grainy wheat, cereal with a light citrus finish. Crisp and refreshing. A nice American Wheat. goldtwins (3747), Nesconset, New York, USA Jan 7, 2008 Tap @ the brewpub. Poured a fairly hazy yellow color. Fairly citrus with wheaty lemon notes. Some notes of cereal. Citrus and wheaty flavor. Light body and smooth. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA Jun 23, 2004 Sadly, this is an American Wheat not a German one. It had a metallic flavor, like sucking on coinage, but it was more enjoyable than most American Wheats. Slightly hazy - a good thing.
