Gusler (2656), Tucson, Arizona, USA Sep 22, 2000 Excellent ’Weiss’ beer, and a Paulaner, but a really great beer. Wheat and malt at the front and a dry hop bitter finish, I like mine without the lemon. Don’t want anything to interefere with the taste of this magnificent beer.
posikyle (163), Alabama, USA Jul 16, 2008 Pours cloudy gold, thick head, faint fruity aroma. A thoroughly average beer. BOLTZ7555 (435), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jun 28, 2008 On tap at the Anaheim location. This was, without doubt, the least impressive of those I sampled. Faint banana, malt, and lemon. Hazy pale yellow without a head. Flavor is watered down and one-dimensional, with banana overwhelming the palate. Just not very good. StFun (289), Indiana, USA May 7, 2008 Not terribly impressed with this one. Tastes like the Golden Ale with wheat instead of corn. Not really for anyone who has had or who really likes wheat beers, but probably a good intro-to-wheat beer for a macro lover. Just not much here I liked. Haslinger (511), Syracuse, New York, USA Apr 15, 2008 Tap @ Orange location. Surprisingly clear for an unfiltered beer. Nothing too special going on in this one. Decent malt taste rather light on flavor. Would not buy again. riversideAK (1562), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jan 24, 2008 Tap at Orange location. Pours a hazy yellow with a little head. Same aroma as the Raspberry Wheat except there is no raspberry. Grainy wheat, cereal with a light citrus finish. Crisp and refreshing. A nice American Wheat.
