Its flavours combine brown sugar, aniseed, and coffee. Not quite as good as their porter, this is still a very enjoyable beer from Alcazar. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

What is there is thick and beige. Aroma is buttery, ashes, coffe, vinious and heavily roasted. Low carbonation. Flavour is hardly roasted, lots of coffee, rather flat feeling with a good dose of chocolate as well. Surprisingly nice.
