KnutAlbert (2165), Oslo, Norway Apr 3, 2008 Light lager, but very well hopped, making it very refreshing. Quite similar to a North German pils like Jever. For once the commercial description describes the actual beer and not something the marketing detp has cooked up! Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 29, 2005 Updated: Jun 13, 2005(Botle 50 cl) Very pale, slightly hazy beer. Looks almost like a Belgian witbier. Creamy, stable head leaving laces on my glass. If this really is a lager, it’s really rather unusual because of it’s odd wheaty touch. Slightly sourish and quite fresh. According to the Aldaris website this is a lager made pale with some barley-starch. But all in all surprisingly nice. 160104 thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 16, 2008 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy with a frothy top bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a hazy softly carbonated yellow colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was floral and malty. crisp . The flavor contained notes of malt hops and grassy. An OK brew just nothing special. DougShoemaker (2560), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Dec 13, 2002 Sweet corn aroma, golden, medium white head. Grassy, good bitterness. Crisp, average lager. Sigmund (1916), Hafrsfjord, Norway Aug 2, 2007 500 ml bottle, bought in Riga. ABV is 4.5%. Pale golden colour, large and lasting white head. Pleasant fruity and flowery aroma. Relatively sweet pale lager flavour, light bodied and thin, hints of fruit and honey, low bitterness. Far from exciting, but not offensive either.
