Draught (Orange Bar, Riga) - Golden in colour with a large white head and lively carbonation. Fresh grassy aroma with some malt and citrues. Clean tasting with malt and and mild hoppiness. Inoffensive but bland.

Deep golden color and pillowy white head. Some malt feel from heavy sugars, medium grassy lightly herbal hop aroma, soft mouthfeel - light medium effervescence. Light caramels. My favorite Latvian beer. Although it’s not easy drinking, it’s a good light lager.

This is decent, but more bland and mroe American-tasting than I expected, lacking the herbal hop character I usually enjoy in European lagers. It’s gold with a huge white head that steadily shrinks to a thin lasting head and leaves a little weak lace. The aroma is mostly corn tortillas with some grain, bread, grass, and pine. It’s full and pleasant, but defintiely heavy on the corn quality and lacking on hops. The taste is similar, grain, especially corn tortillas again, a light alcoholic quality, very light herbal bitterness, light zestiness, a hint of spiciness, hint of grass, and a grain-corn finish. The corn quality gets a little tiresome by the end. It’s more like a US macro lager with more flavour than many, and seems like a higher quality, cleaner, more well-crafted Red Dog, because of the dominant corn character. This also remidns me of Colt 45. Luksus is clearly better than both, but not a lot. I was hoping for something more along the lines of Svyturus, from neighbouring Lithuania, butthis lacks the herbal hop quality.

In the bottle from HyVee CB. Bright yellow gold with a white head. Slightly skunky, yet perfumey aroma. Medium carbonation, medium palate. No skunk flavor. Very smooth. Slightly sweet. A good pale lager.

bottle. pale gold color with a rocky white head. smells of grass and grain. sweet grainy favor with a bitter grassy finish. nice head retention. certainly not the best beer I’ve ever had but it is better than I thought it would be. sort of straddles the line between pale lager and German pilsener.

0,5lt can thanks to KnutAlbert. An average lager (but hey another country in the statistics). I liked the light taste and flowery notes of this lager too. Hoppy. I couldeasily think it’s lighter than 5%. Nice aftertaste

Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is mostly malt, some hops, and a note of grass. Light body. Malty but fresh flavor with notes of grain, very light caramel, and hops. Not that bad, much better than I expected.
