Bottle - 500ml. Opaque black body with low carbonation and a thick, lasting beige foamy head. Nica malty/hoppy aroma with roasted coffee hints. Taste is well balanced but lacks complexity. Some cocoa notes are detectable. It ends with a decent bitter/roasty finish. Very drinkable Porter.

500 ml. bottle. Dark brown color with a tan bumpy head. Aroma of dark molasses and grain, with a bit of an HP sauce or vegemite element. Sweet, cloying molasses malt flavor, dark brown sugar, and dark karo drowning branny grains. No roasty or hoppy bitterness detected here which would be welcome to balance the big sweetness. Lightly syrupy and oily body. Maybe I’m spoiled by the stateside brews, but this is just too sweet and syrupy for my taste. Can barely finish it.

500ml bottle. Very dark brown, red hints, bit bready head. Bacony aroma from the best bottle I’ve had. (but some bottles are a little metalic.) Sweetens to a dunkelbocky maltiness. Taste is mostly a fairly burnt malt, some ash, tar and smoke. Body is also quite bocky. Doesn’t taste like it’s 6.8%. Finish is a mildly bitter burntness. Tasty brew.

Pours a deep amber with a big this long lasting beige head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is bitter hints of licorice. The flavor is sweet with notes of coffee, chocolate, brown sugar, and malt. Finishes sweet with a slight bitter finish. Sweeter than I expected. Definitely notes of fruit, not earthy, not "roasty". Body is thinner than I expected with a creamy mouth feel with a hint of alcohol. Rich and sweet, a nice porter.

Dark brown with a nice tan head. Aroma is brown sugar, burnt almond and some dark cocoa. Sweet up front and roasted malts before bittering up slightly. Oily on the palate. Nice rich and sweet porter.

Dark reddish with a light light tan head. A bit sweet. Not too roasty. More fruity. Slightly alcoholic. A bit milky and acidic. A big bit pruney, which is always nice. Small bubbled creamy with a viscous not watery body. A bit creamy with a bit of roast and some heavy measure of prune. Surprisingly oily with heavy esters. Minor chocolate. A bit acidic. Lingering pruney finish with some roast.
