| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 21, 2007 Very dark brown beer with medium head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Flavour is first sweet but changes quickly more dryer and slightly roasted. Palate is smooth and slippery. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 20, 2007 Pours a near opaque black with a tan head. Light on the nose with a touch of malts and not much else really going on. Flavor is thick with character. Starts off nice and hearty with a touch of roasted quality to it, but it does not last long. If it lasted longer, or maybe even grew into a more complex brew, I might give even more points. Feel is nice and thick with a lot of body there and a decent carbonation. Definitely drinkable. I am surprised by this one and found it very easy to drink and actually worth going back to. Icommonsewer (122), TUCSON, Arizona, USA

Get Baltika 6 or Black Boss for better examples of this style LiebeBier (793), Annapolis, Maryland, USA
