Sep 29, 2007 Bottle. Nice creamy tan head with good duration. Color is dark ruby. Aroma is mainly licorice. Taste is malt and licorice with a sweet finish.

Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark redamber colour. Moderate malty light hoppy strangely fruity aroma (maybe from the yeast) Nice powerfull moderate bitter flavor. Loads of licoricenotes. Long nice finish. Creamy palate. nice beer.

Sep 21, 2007 Very dark brown beer with medium head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Flavour is first sweet but changes quickly more dryer and slightly roasted. Palate is smooth and slippery.

Sep 20, 2007 Pours a near opaque black with a tan head. Light on the nose with a touch of malts and not much else really going on. Flavor is thick with character. Starts off nice and hearty with a touch of roasted quality to it, but it does not last long. If it lasted longer, or maybe even grew into a more complex brew, I might give even more points. Feel is nice and thick with a lot of body there and a decent carbonation. Definitely drinkable. I am surprised by this one and found it very easy to drink and actually worth going back to.

Sep 18, 2007 this is not the best Baltic Porter we have taste tested but it wasn’t the worst... pretty average tasting and of course, sweet. Get Baltika 6 or Black Boss for better examples of this style

Sep 12, 2007 Bottle - Poured a beautiful black color with a thick tan head. Great lacing and the alcohol is very well masked. Chocolate and molasses flavors along with creamy matiness.
