| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Jul 29, 2009 It poured a dark liquid with a small brown foam that left some lacing. It had a smell of honey but it tasted a bit bland and watery. The body was a bit to thin. thooper41 (384), Oregon, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 1, 2009 16.9oz bottle: apperance is pitch black with slow fading tan head, aroma of roasted malt favor is pretty interesting because its a porter but with lager yeast, very clean tasting but also very porter like with roasted malt and chocolate falvors. pretty decent beer. daknole (2941), Plantation, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 7, 2009 Bottle from case and keg. Dark pour wtih a pretty big tan head. Sweet, sweet and more sweetness. Both on the tongue and in the aroma. sugar, honey, molasses, toffee, caramel, prunes, syrup. Just too damn sweet. drjay44 (790), Salida, Colorado, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Apr 20, 2009 16.9 oz. bottle. Pours a thick mocha head, fair duration, thick lacing, over a dark (SRM 25) brownish red, clear body....nose of molasses, toffee.....taste is sweet malts up front, with layers of cherry, raisin, finishing with mild bitterness....mouth feel is thick, creamy, chewy. This meets the BJCP definition of a Baltic Porter almost perfectly. It should be thick, with malt sweetness and complexity, perhaps some similarity to a "Wee Heavy", and has nothing much in common with either dry or strong Stouts. It is very good. k9coug (41), USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Mar 22, 2009 This is porter? Maybe I don’t know what a true porter is, but this was carmel colored, no roasted profile, candied like a watered down bad Imperial Stout. I disagree with most raters, this is bad beer. I may never again drink Latvian beer.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 1, 2009 Very dark brown though I cant call it black, with a HUGE head...Smells a touch like soap or old ladies perfume. Hints of smoke and malt, rather sweet. Take a big drink and you get a big floral blast to the throat. Sweetness is a little over the top Not great, but whatever. gwpom (250), Akron, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 14, 2009 16.9 oz. Very dark but not black, with a thick cream colored head. Smooth sipping, and not overpowering. For the price not bad at all. I would have this again. Beardface (1001), Eugene, Oregon, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 14, 2009 Extremely light bodied for a porter, perhaps because as the bottle says, it is a lager instead of an ale. Decent malty aroma with some smokiness and caramel to it. Very roasty but light flavor, nothing to really write home about but for two dollars per 16.9 oz bottle I will definitely drink it again.
