| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 31, 2006 Bottle, pours a dark red with a spotty white head. Aroma is of roasted chocolate with faint soy sauce and a mild level of sourness as an afterthought. The flavor is chewy of dense caramel with coffee and cream being the primary foci. The finish suggests fruitier notes with a small dash of hard candy. Medium palate here, very par for the style. This is a pretty tasty brew. Finn (1510), Tromsø, Norway
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 27, 2006 Bottle 0,5l. Deer, deep red. A tanned creamy head leaving filigrees in the glass. Faint aroma of chocolate and roastedness. Roasted and malty flavour. Sweet bitter aftertaste with a fruity and chocolate-filled ending. Thanks to Rune for bringing it all the way from southern Finland. Rune (2851), Tromsø, Norway
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 26, 2006 500ml bought at Alko in Finland and sampled with Finn. Beige foam leaving nice "Kirchenfenster" on the glass. Dark-reddish brown in colour. Sweet malty aroma with notes of coffee. Complex roasted flavour of dark, dried fruits, toffee and biscuit. Dry finish. Pity that I only had one bottle, because this was a very moreish porter (A Koff Porter came to our rescue) (25.10.2006). strings (361), Sydney, Australia
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 11, 2006 Bottle. Very rich cough syrup texture which works when the flavour’s there. On this occasion it was - rich and chocolately with a bit of molasses and sticky date pudding (though not as sweet as that makes it sound). Very gentle long lasting finish. bosox04 (1), norristown, Pennsylvania, USA does not count | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Sep 26, 2006 Updated: Jan 1, 2007I wasn’t very impressed with this beer at all. It had a real weak taste and no head at all. Very disappointed. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 24, 2006 Bottled. Pours a clear dark reddish brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, nuts and roasty malt. Creamy medium body with slight carbonation. The taste is sweet without being syrupy, with chocolate-covered raisins, molasses and nuts. A touch of coffee and chocolate on the finish. Tasty! NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA

My first beer from Latvia and the 22nd Baltic Porter I have rated.

Very nice aroma. Caramel, cocoa and a perfumey kind of fruitiness. Very concentrated and pleasant aroma here. Body is a rich dark brown with a slight red tint and it holds a head that is a full thumb thick, creamy and lasting. Nice looking beer. Fore tastes like a raisin liquor with hints of burnt malt and perfumey alcohol and a amazingly tasty flavor I can only describe as burnt rum raisin ice cream. Extremely tasty and has a delightful mouthfeel. excellent beer that is definitely a must try.
