Dark brown with a twinge of red. Aroma of dark coffee. Medium-thick body and sweet robust flavors of toffee, dark malts, caramel and a bit of brown sugar. Finish is a bit bitter but also somewhat sweet.

I wasn’t particularly impressed. Thin bodied and sweet. Interesting bitterness to it. Simply so-so.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of caramel, coffee, chocolate, and hops. Flavor is coffee, sweet, with a some bitterness. Damn i loved this porter.

A very different porter. Similar in style to the Lithuanian porter I had, and not much else. Very mellow and sweet, with a blast of soy sauce up front but a mild, sucrose finish. Brown sugar and light fruits show up as well.

X-mas gift from pops. Dark brown body, fizzy tan head. Some roasty coffee and sweet chocolate in aroma. With some lactic hop edge. Malty chocolate, smokey caramel and sweet vanilla flavor. Other things show up too. Smooth, yet thin. A bit overly sweet to. Like a porter soda or actually root beer.

Bottle. Had this both in Riga, and now brought back from another Baltic excursion. A dark brown beer with a decent sized tan head. Has the usual chocolate and malty notes that you might expect, but much smoother and far better than the Utenos Porter that I tried it alongside, bit smoky as well. Jolly decent beer.

Bottle. Dark brown with a big beige head. Aromas are very malty with chocolate, spices and roast notes. Flavours are chocolate malts with mellow berries and coffee. Has some metallic notes. Bitter on the finish and not too complex.

16 oz bottle. Pours a very dark brown, almost black with some mahogany highlights. Nice thick creamy one finger light brown head that left beautiful lacing. Aroma is mostly roast and chocolate malt, with some caramelized sugar, light alcohol, and a general fruitiness. Flavor has alot of chocolate malt and fruity characteristics, almost sweet, with a lightly lactic and alcoholic finish. Mouthfeel is maybe a little thin, but very creamy with fine carbonation, very soft. Not high on my list as far as Baltic Porters go, but a decent beer. The flavor just had a little too much fruitiness, and was a little lacking in aroma.
