"Aldara Tumšais" beer is a medium strong dark beer brand, with significant caramel malt and admissible light burnt (parched) malt flavour, as well as hop tunes (odorous hop). Sourness of hop is sensible alongside caramel malt in comparably light taste. Colour - brown - red/dark brown.

A very good, tasty and colourful beer that won the World Beer Cup a couple of years ago.

Bottled. Black opaque with mediumsized brown head. Leaves lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with fruitish hints. Also a bit of chocolate in aroma. Extremely lovely nose. Flavour mainly of roasted malt with a bit bitter finish.

Tumsais = dark. I agree with the other posts, it is sugery and sweet. But decent.

Dark ruby color. Foamy coffee-head. Lively carbonation. Aroma is roasted malt and milk chocolate. Medium-bodied, roasted malt, slightly bitter with hints of alcohol. World class dunkel.

Almost black colored, very big light brown head. Aroma has lot of chocolate. Roasted and mildly sweet caramel flavor, ends with biting hops and little carbonation feeling in tongue. Very nicely balanced brew. Body could be little stronger, still very good dunkel.

Very nice, deep, dark red color with medium, tanned head. Quite dry, slightly roasted coffee-malty aroma. Quite dry, hoppy, roasted-malty and slightly smoky flavor. Turns sllightly sweeter towards the end. Medium-bodied, slightly thin, slicky, quite carbonated palate. A quite tasty and balanced brew that feels like 1/2 of czech dark lager, 1/2 porter and a sip of coffee and smoked beer as a bonus. Becomes more dry, roasted and smooth when warm.

Very much like a German dunkel but a little lacking at the edges.Thinish taste but not too gassy so not a bad drink. But if you want to try the real thing its got to be from Germany.

Tea colour, strong malt aroma and flavour, well balanced. Honey and caramel notes. A bit too much carbonation. Enjoyable overall.
