| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a massive, fluffy, lacy pale yellow head. Light aroma of mango, cotton candy, Medium body and light carbonation. A bit of fruit and toffee in the taste, but it has a bitter finish with a husky/grainy quality that increases with each swallow. I really wanted to like this one, but it’s only OK. scrizzz (1285), kirkland, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 2, 2007 foamed out of the neck once opened; bad sign. poured a massive 6 inch head over 2 inches of beer despite a careful pour. once it settled enough to take the rest of the bottle i finished pouring. hazy caramel with a lively clumsy head. sweet sandy aroma and hints of ocean air. lacing randomly down the glass. smooth and rich initially degrades to its unfiltered homebrew foundation before the fresh aromatic hops round out the experience. hints of celery. robforbes (1099), Bremerton, Washington, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Oct 8, 2007 Bottle: Caramel copper color, decent foamy head and light lacing. Nose of diacetyl, light butterscotch and earthy hop notes. The flavor is super diacetyl and caramelly. The finish is bitter and dry. Ugh. BDR (2161), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 15, 2007 Thanks to skyview for sharing. Light hoppy nose on this copper colored beer. Rocky white head. Bitter generic hop flavor with a grainy body. JK (2955), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 11, 2007 This is an underwhelming beer. Light hop aroma and light hop flavor. Not enough hops for a pale ale. Minimal malt base that is a little sweet. Skyview (4055), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 10, 2007 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington. Pours a semi-hazy coppery amber brew with a thick, lumpy off-white head that stays throughout the glass (pour through finish). One of the best retentions I’ve seen. Aroma of light multi-grain biscuits, critusy hops, sweet apples and a touch of yeast. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a good balance of caramel malt and citrus zest bitterness. Finish has a mild citrus bite with a slight pepper flavor in the aftertaste. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 9, 2007 Skyview. Pours a nice amber-like auburn with a nice white head. Very citrusy nosewith a little bit of malt backing it up. Nice citrusy hoppiness with a bitter floral finish. There is a little bit of a malt balance, but not much. Nice dry floral finish, but not too great.
