Color of cola except slightly hazy with a soapy white head. Nice sweet aroma. Lightly roasty with a slight hint of butter. Flavor is light an roasty. Some chocolate malts, some nuts, and ever so slight butter. Very light, a little wattery, but it has a nice tingly mouthfeel and a little lingering sweetness. This is very good. The last couple of raters must have gotten bad batches, because for a mild, this is fantastic.

poured a mellow flat dark brown in the glass with no head. i left a inch in the bottle, agitated the sediment, and emptied the contents. much better. hazy orange brown with a soft head that fell quick but hung on. brown sugar aroma. sweet thin and crisp. my first mild ale. quick to leave the palate, however for the style seems solidly built.

12-oz. Pours a murky brown with a big surging moussy tannish head. Nice light malty sweet nose. Mild (what else?) attack. Light body, very low carb. Neutral but clean and drinkable palate. Pleasant and refreshing. Lingering malty finish.

Bottle. Pours clear cola brown with a creamy but fading light tan head that produces some lace. Aroma of nuts, chocolate and just a smidge of pine. Light body and carbonation. Lightly sweet taste, with brown sugar, along with the various elements borrowed from the aroma. Crisp, clean and softly bitter chocolate finish.

A nice beer, and it is so hard to find a mild. It has a tall, rocky head. Cloudy brown appearance, and from the way it looks, it might be any number of styles. The aroma has unprocessed grain. Flavor is malt, lightly roasted, and a little nutty with no hop presence.

Pours brown with off white head. The mild aroma seems sweet and somewhat caramelized to roasted malts. I also get some light notes of oxidation. The taste is very sessionable, as is the ABV, with notes of mild roastiness, a dash of caramel and more roasted malts. Hidden behind the tasty maltiness is a mild background of pine hops.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington. As soon as I opened this bottle, this brew has enough pressure stored to send the cap flying to the ceiling. Pours a hazy burnt amber brew with a thick off-white head that has excellent retention and lacing. Aroma of dark roasted caramel malt, a touch of flowery hops, some old cellar funk scents, and a touch of toasted buscuits. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated, light in flavor of roasted malt and a touch of paper cardboard. Finish is mildly (naturally) bitterness with more toasted malt flavor that lingers around.
