Angeloregon (2001), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 6, 2008 12 ounce bottle from Bottleworks in Seattle, WA--Poured a Hazy straw-orange body with a nice blanketing frothy white head. Cold, spicy, chill nose. Bright carbonic mouthfeel. Sparkling, crisp, malt body. Very refreshing and deserving of the "Pils" name. Loved it! Bradrcr (617), Renton, Washington, USA Jun 29, 2008 6/7/08 On draught at the ExBeerience beer festival. Aroma is light malty and low on sourness. Appearance is hazy gold with a medium white head. Flavor is clean, candilike sweet malt forward with carbonic, spritzy low noble hop bittering. Overall, extremely easy drinking, and sweetness is never overpowring. bitbucket (1569), Kirkland, Washington, USA Apr 4, 2008 Botttle. Pours dark gold with a fluffy, lacy white head that diminishes quickly. Sweet, biscuit and Saaz aroma. Light body, fine carbonation tending to the light side of things. Bready taste. Slight sourness on the exit. scrizzz (504), kirkland, Washington, USA Nov 29, 2007 soft hop aroma is weighed down by dust, reminds me of the air after a rainstorm. dull gold has more color than most pilseners i’ve had. solid malt backbone but lacks the sharp finish for the style. riversideAK (1634), Shoreline, Washington, USA Nov 23, 2007 Amber gold color with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet bready with some grain and a little butter, some perfumey hops, and a little orange wheatiness. Bready sweetness, grain, and some light floral hops in the finish. It’s a little creamy in the mouthfeel too. Interesting take on the style, but it tastes ok nonetheless.
