Bottle from scrizzz. Thanks man! Pours a somewhat hazy gold with a frothy 2-finger white head. Something of a lemon grass aroma over pale malt. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is rather citric with mild malt sweetness. Finishes other than crisp, perhaps with a touch of paper, but overall it is very refreshing.

Bottle thanks to Scrizz. Pour is light orange with not much head. Aroma is of grass, pine and some grain. Flavor is a bit lacking and not very pilsner-esque. Lightly piney with some honey thrown in to keep things interesting. Palate is moderate with the carbonation being fairly decent and a bit of sweetness and a touch of bitter. Odd for the style, drinkable for a beer.

Aroma is hoppy and wheaty, unexpected for a pils-style lager. Visual is a really thin with no head and a really pale yellow color, about the worst possible visual style for a beer. Flavor reveals some sweetness, lightly honeyed wheat. Aroma settles into something appropriating ginger ale.

Bottle. Clear light gold, medium white head. Smells of spicy hop and sulfur. Tastes has a nice honey malt with mild finish. A little less hop in the taste and a little more sulphur than I prefer, but not a bad pilsner.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a very large and slightly off-white head that fades VERY fast. Aroma of strong malt, bright lemons, fresh very low a.a. hops and a bit of metal too. Medium-bodied; Light hoppy flavour with some metal and malt coming through and a touch of citrus. Aftertaste is very mild - a bit of spice touched in to the malt and subtle hops. Overall, a pretty mild beer that shows some nice light hops and a good malt balance, but aside from that - there isn’t enough complexity throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington on 25-April-2009 sampled at home in the real Washington on 13-May-2009.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with riversideAK (thanks!). Poured a medium and slightly hazy yellow color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of citrus / citrus rinds, grains, and lighter grassiness. Tastes of citrus, spices, some doughiness, and grainy.

A nice looking pils. Solid gold with lively carbonation feeding a thick, off-white top. Had no expectations for this brew, but with the first whiff, I knew this wasn’t an ordinary pilsner. Hops and pilsner malt entwine. Feint floral, and light citrus notes, a bitterish twang, and some intriguing qualities that were hard to pin down. Smooth body and exceptionally clean. Restrained malt with reserved, though certainly detectable, hopping. Mildly tasty. Far better than most pilsners. An outstanding rendition of the style.
