Nose of starchy malt, bright phenols and apple cider, just a touch of noble hops. The flavor is a little bitter with a lightly toasty malt note. The finish is snappy, aside from the light phenols in the nose, this is a spot on pilsener. BDR (2169), Roseville, Minnesota, USA

Tall white head on the gold beer, it does look very nice. Malt and light hop flavor with some palate, very drinkable like a Bohemian pils should be. Skyview (4090), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 10, 2007 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington. Pours a semi-clear golden pale brew with a decent white head that has good retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet multi-grain malt, some light pear fruit and grassy hops. Taste is light to medium bodied, lightly carbonated and a sweet multi-grain cereal with a touch of herbs. Finish has a mild bitterness that quickly finished clean. A nice balanced pilsener. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA

Nice biscuity sweet malt on the nosewith a hint of earthy funk. Nice carbonated feel, with a hint of almost sweet citric acidity and biscuity like sweetness. A little watery, but a nice profile nonetheless. beerguy101 (3971), Newark, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 25, 2007 This pilsner pours a slightly cloudy medium yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium to small sized white foamy head. Aroma is grainy, cereal and sweet. A medium bodied pilsner. Malts are cereal and sweet. Touch of spicy hops. Mild carbonation. Kind of sweet and a touch grainy, but not bad, Crisp and clean. A light and refreshing tasting pilsner, perhaps a touch sweet and not spicy enough in the hop department, but very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA

I am not a huge fa of pilseners, but I am impressed with this one. The aftertaste is sweet with an initial bitter bite with a small "b." Thanks Indiana_Red for sharing this rare WA gem. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 17, 2007 Bottle Pours a very light, almost clear fizzy straw color. Huge pure white head, probly from pouring rather roughly. Prominant pilsner and slight light malt aroma. Clean bright pale malty flavor. For the style, I like it. Finishes very quick and clean. Slightly bitter and light grain and corn notes as well. Pleasantly surprised.
