I have heard of there being quite a bit of variation in this brew, but from the single bottle I sampled it was truely a phenomenal lager - easily the best I have ever had the opportunity to sample. Deep, rich pilsner malt backbone that was lightly biscuity with a great grainy profile. Very light citrus notes and a grasyy component. Amazing drink. Cletus (5056), Connecticut, USA

Cold, spicy, chill nose. Bright carbonic mouthfeel. Sparkling, crisp, malt body. Very refreshing and deserving of the "Pils" name. Loved it! Skyview (4057), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 10, 2007 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington. Pours a semi-clear golden pale brew with a decent white head that has good retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet multi-grain malt, some light pear fruit and grassy hops. Taste is light to medium bodied, lightly carbonated and a sweet multi-grain cereal with a touch of herbs. Finish has a mild bitterness that quickly finished clean. A nice balanced pilsener. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 17, 2007 Bottle Pours a very light, almost clear fizzy straw color. Huge pure white head, probly from pouring rather roughly. Prominant pilsner and slight light malt aroma. Clean bright pale malty flavor. For the style, I like it. Finishes very quick and clean. Slightly bitter and light grain and corn notes as well. Pleasantly surprised. after4ever (2776), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 22, 2006 12-oz. Pours a mild straw color with a comically towering platinum blonde sudsy head. Light rising carb. Hay and grass on the nose. Crisp clean attack; light body, medium carb. Saaz-y, mild, slightly tangy palate. Not much going on, but it’s a pils. Clean, drinkable, well-made; good warm weather beer. Granted, it’s November, but that’s my problem, not theirs. bitbucket (2034), Kirkland, Washington, USA

Nice biscuity sweet malt on the nosewith a hint of earthy funk. Nice carbonated feel, with a hint of almost sweet citric acidity and biscuity like sweetness. A little watery, but a nice profile nonetheless.
