| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 18, 2007 On tap at the brewpub on 6/22/07: Pours a barely transparent dark mahogany with a lightly lacing dense tan head. Sweet lightly sugary caramel malty nose has some roasted malt and mild butterscotch. Body starts fairly full with well-dissolved CO2 and some sticky caramel malt along with a touch of milk chocolate toward a slightly thinner, lightly toasted nutty finish. Could use a little more malty sweetness and body. JPDIPSO (4923), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA

Poured clear dark brown color with an average fizzy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate roasted coffee and chocolate malty aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy roasted dark chocolate flavor with medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 7, 2006 Draught sample at the brewery, mid-October 2006, listed as "Disporterly Conduct", clever ha ha. Beautiful opaque walnut-to-black with a thin ring of foam and creamy tan head though it dies quickly....aroma is stunning: strong, roasty coffee and lightly burnt malts, rich underlying caramel, faint wafts of gingerbread and, with some warmth, star anise and vanilla, a lovely balance of spice and roasty porter goodness.....luscious body, nutty-oily in mouthfeel with strong touches of dried fruit (cherry, fig), medium-bodied coffee, bitter chocolate and roasty dark grains....somewhat light-bodied but there’s enough heft to support the richness...hmm this seems to be rated on the low side of this fine brewery’s wares but it was my favorite for sure. heemer77 (4309), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 22, 2006 I had a beer called Diporterly Conduct at the brewpub. I am rating this as the same beer. The body was black with a light khaki colored head. There was plenty of roast and coffee in teh aroma with some soy beans. The taste was slightly sweet with some light roasted coffee and a little bit of pancakes. This was smooth with a dry finish.
