Draught at the brewery tasting room. Hazy ornage-brown with thin white head that didn’t leave any lace. Spicy, fruity aroma with subdued banana and clove accents. Flavor was similar with a warm splash of alcohol.

On tap at the brewpub. The body was light copper colored with a creamy off white head on top. The aroma was lots of banana with some cinnamon. As it warmed I thought it smelled more of bubblegum. The taste was bananas and cinnamon spice. There was a little grassy funk in the finish. This was very drinkable.

I like belgians, and this is no exception. Has a taste of bananna - either that or i’ve just had too many. Tasty and beautiful.

Extra points for the name alone! A fair lookig little lassy with a reddish glow. A fruity basket with enough vinous notes for interest. Finishes dry enough to sweep out the fruit leaving a note of brandy. Fine. On my second try was not as good though.

Hazy golden color with a moderate off-white head. Aromas of pale malt, mild herbal and floral hops, white pepper and touches of citrus along with an attic dryness. Flavor of pale malt and mild spices, including pepper and light clove. Light and airy. Linger is of pale malt and a mild herbal essence. A fine abbey ale.

Sample @ Brewery. Like the Diablo this beer is about a spice ale for aroma and flavor. Some fermantaion in aroma. This one seemed little smoother on the palate. Amber body with off white head.

Clear brown body. Caramel brown malt aroma. The flavor has some sweet caramel backing and has a dried leaf hopping along a light alcohol pepper.

Pours to a deep chestnut body with a white head. The aroma is roasty iced tea and lightly yeasty and earthen spicyness. The flavor is toasty roasted iced tea, light Belgian spicyness. The palate is moderate with a nice texture and density. 7, 3, 7, 3, 14 = 3.4

Resampled at 10th Annual Mid*Winter Brewfest. 6, 4, 7, 4, 13 = 3.4
