Not much aroma at all; faint. Relatively clear, dark red body; nice color. Small, off-white head. Has a hop profile; not very Belgian. A nice brew though. A little too thin. Other than being a little off-style, nice.

(Draught) Pours a hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of orange peel, grains of parasite, coriander, banana, and pears. Flavor of spicy yeast, orange peel, coriander, raisins, and caramel malt.

A decent Belgian ale...light reddish in color with sweet malt aroma. Nice and drinkable, but I preferred the Diablo.

On tap at the brewpub on 6/22/07: Pours a hazy dark copper amber with a nicely-lacing off-white head. Aroma of fresh, lightly biscuity Belgian malt with a touch of yeast and light citrus. Body starts fairly full with some nice lightly sweet caramel malt and an orange citrus balance toward a bready, semi-dry finish. A nice Belgian ale.

On draught at the brewpub in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a clear, coppery amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind an off-white ring a no lacing. Aroma of dark caramel malt, flowery hops with some mild spices, white pepper and a touch of clove. Taste is medium bodied, hardly any carbonation with a caramel flavor in the aftertaste and then a mild bitterness. A pretty decent milt bitter Belgian ale.
