nuplastikk (1159), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Sep 19, 2009 Draft at the Brewpub. Cloudy orange-yellow. Classic banana-clove taste. Fresh and lively. Smooth and creamy, with a subtle, dry, bitter, lemony, almost a touch of saltiness flavor profile. Remains soft and light on the palate but full of flavor. Perfectly executed Hefeweizen. Emphasis on clove vs. banana. shigadeyo (2210), Harrison, Ohio, USA Sep 15, 2009 9/05/2009: Hatha-Weizen... Aroma: Lemon and a faint spiciness. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Aug 20, 2009 (Draught) Pours a hazy pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, lemon zest, and some clove. Flavor of banana, wheat, lemon, clove, and bread. noncaloric (601), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Dec 1, 2008 Cloudy gold, big white head that fades to leave a generous lace. Aroma has gumball, coriander, and yeast. Flavor built around a very worty malt profile, lots of fruit and spice flavors woven in: orange, vanilla, nut, gumball, coriander again. Very tasty. The foam and beer are pleasantly smooth on the palate. esjaygee (1467), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Sep 16, 2008 On Tap at the Great Lakes Brewfest. Cloufy banana yellow with a thin off-white head. Aroma of grains, toasted malt, barley and light banana. Taste of banana, grain, rye and wheat. Finishes semi dry and mildly spicy. Not a standard hefe IMO, but not bad either. phishpond417 (1861), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Jun 4, 2008 Pours a cloudy golden colour, with a full sticky white head. Bananna, orange peel, mangoe and bubblegum in the aroma. Light carbonation, creamy mouthfeel with a long fruity finish. madcow75 (425), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA May 23, 2008 Draft at the brewery. Pours very hazy yellow with a thin white head. Familiar aroma of banana and cloves, but when cold some garbage type aroma which faded after it warmed. Flavor is pretty typical, banana and cloves with some bread. Not bad. keoki182 (305), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA Jan 20, 2008 Definitely hazy yellow in appearance. Smells like cloves and banana. Flavor is much of the same, classic hefeweizen in my experience. I enjoyed this one.
