Aug 11, 2006 Tap @ Brewery. Aroma was like standing next to a tank in a milk house. Not bad if you’ve done that. Hazy yellow body with white head and good lacing. Flavor had a touch of lemon, and a creamy vanilla flavor. Refreashing brew is right.

Sep 19, 2009 Draft at the Brewpub. Cloudy orange-yellow. Classic banana-clove taste. Fresh and lively. Smooth and creamy, with a subtle, dry, bitter, lemony, almost a touch of saltiness flavor profile. Remains soft and light on the palate but full of flavor. Perfectly executed Hefeweizen. Emphasis on clove vs. banana.

Dec 1, 2008 Cloudy gold, big white head that fades to leave a generous lace. Aroma has gumball, coriander, and yeast. Flavor built around a very worty malt profile, lots of fruit and spice flavors woven in: orange, vanilla, nut, gumball, coriander again. Very tasty. The foam and beer are pleasantly smooth on the palate.

Jul 2, 2007 POurs hazy yellow and shows the typical fruit on the nose. The palate drives the fruit into a deeper sense and then gives a nice easy drinking smooth finish.

Nov 18, 2007 On tap at the brewpub on 6/22/07: Pours a cloudy golden with a wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet malted wheaty clove, lemon citrus and authentic bready yeast. Body starts lightly sweet with some citrus balance and banana flavor thinning some toward a doughy yeasty finish with some clove spice. A pretty good hefeweizen.

Oct 22, 2006 On tap at the brewpub. The beer was cloudy light yellow with a white head. The aroma was classic hefe with some bananas and clove. Very clean. The taste had lots of clove with some banana peels and hay. The finish was a little spicy and I got a hint of pineapple. The carbonation was a little sharp fo rme in the style.

Aug 20, 2009 (Draught) Pours a hazy pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, lemon zest, and some clove. Flavor of banana, wheat, lemon, clove, and bread.

Dec 7, 2006 Draught sample at the brewery, mid-October 2006. A hazy light yellow-gold in color with a lasting moderate white head and a bit of lace.....pretty typical banana-clove aroma, not overly sweet, but some nice underlying earthy pungency lends greater interest.....awfully easy-dringing and creamy-smooth though a little weak in character....low carbonation but lively mouthfeel, slightly on the sweet side, creamy. A nice reasonably authentic take.
