Several on draft in Madison and I brought 7 bottles back; wish I would have brought more. Showcase for cascades. Golden, orange colored, hazy, light white head sits atop. Aroma is pine, floral, grapefruit, orange & earthy. Hops dominate the nose. Taste is citrus (orange & grapefruit) & floral at first followed by orange marmalade, moderate bitterness, and light pine and honey notes. Finish is lingering mild to moderate bitterness, tart & sweet orange. Very easy to drink. Bitterness is high for style but certainty not over the top. I like the hop forward flavor while still remaining a true pale ale. This is no IPA in APA clothing. My new favorite pale ale?

Tasted on tap This APA pours a light orange gold color. Small head. Aroma is floral hops and kind of sweet. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and citrusy, Nice balance. I first though this was an IPA and commented that “its more of an APA than an IPA” guess I was right and wrong eh? Good carbonation. This sample is a very fresh tasting beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

12 oz bottle from csbosox. Pour is orange amber clear with a fluffy white head. Aroma of hops - orange/lemon citrus. A bit of malty sweetness (biscuit) in there as well. Taste is pretty much as advertised by the nose, orange, lime and lemon hoppiness, some nice bitterness. Also, a great backbone of slightly sweet biscuit malt. Palate was a touch on the watery side, but didn’t keep this from being very enjoyable. Thanks Chris.

Body: creamy body,
Flavor: lots of great hop flavor, enough caramel sweetness to keep it balanced but not so much as to get in the way of the hops, light bitterness,
Overall: way better than the prior bottle

ilikebeer2 made a beer trip and came back with lots of good stuff and shared it with a bunch of C-U Beer Club buddies. Thanks, Scott. Pours out a vivid amber with a medium frothy white head. The aroma was of serious grapefruit hoppiness, toasted malt, and wheat. Light to medium body that was gently carbonated. The flavor was strong hops bitterness. APA or IPA? Anyway, the beer was a refreshing drink.

Another tasty ipa. Enjoyed at the old fashioned in Mad town. Good hop aroma and flavor, not overally bitter, easy drinker for a good ipa. I was actually expecting a bit more hop crack out of this, but was one of the best IPA’s of the trip

Pours light gold with a fluffy, moderate, white head. Aroma is passion fruit (SIMCOE Hops). Moderate mouth feel with a strong passion fruit flavor. I really like Simcoe hops, so I really dig this.

(Bottle) Received in a trade from Ughsmash. Pours a huge, wonderful white foamy head with a deep orange body. Large hoppy pine nose. Flavours of seville oranges, pine. Very very attractive nose and tongue to this beer. Above average.
