Jun 2, 2007 Pours a light amber color with little off-white head. Aroma is of pine, citrus, light malt and toasted grain. Taste is much the same but it’s kind of harsh for being what it is. It’s good but good be a lot better.

May 31, 2007 Medium amber with a fairly big white head. Aroma is piney hops, sharp citrus, and mild malts. Falvor is just a tad thin but still very nice. Light bitter hops, bigger pine, malts. A touch of bitterness and dryness in the finish.

May 29, 2007 Chicago Trip. Sunday 21:15. On tap at Maduro in Madison. Gold with a light head and strong lacing. Strong enticing hops, not too aggressive. Balance is tipped slightly to wards the hops. Just a tad harsh but very drinkable.

May 24, 2007 Clear orange-gold. Extremely fine off white head settles to a complete cap leaving some lacing.
Citric earthy hops lead the nose, with a very nice bready, slightly crackery malty base underneath. Really solid APA here.
Thin side of medium in the mouth with nice balance between the hops and malt. Palate veers most toward juicy, orangish hops, and bready malt. Decent length, though a bit diffuse in the mid-palate. Finish is mostly orange marmalade hop notes.
Very fine mouthfeel with a low level of carbonation that accentuates the malt that is there. Lovely session APA that I’d love to have available to me regularly. Bottle 6 of a six pack.

May 22, 2007 (Tap) Pours a light amber color with a nice looking white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of citrus and hops, and is quite strong. Taste has a more mellow malty character, but quite subdued compared to the hops. Dry pine in the aftertaste. A pretty average mouthfeel, but a very drinkable beer.

May 2, 2007 Updated: Nov 18, 2007Bottle thanks to Brigadier: Pours a transparent bright golden with a frothy white head. Aroma has a big fresh grapefruity hoppy presence with a lightly sweet pale maltiness. Body starts a little thinner, but with a touch of pale malty sweetness and good flavor hoppy balance. A nice, drinkable APA.

May 2, 2007 Lightly hazed yellow with a thin white head. Piney and citrus hops almost completely cover the malt. Malty and grapefruity. Mainly the rind portion. Mildly bitter with a semi-dry finish. Light bodied.
