| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 26, 2008 Poured a light orange color with a big white head. Aroma is of a nice blend of hops, but not in your face, has some malt behind it. Flavor is fairly hopped up for a pale ale, but still well balanced by lots of malts. Pretty good. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 10, 2008 On tap at the brewery into a pint glass. Looks the way it should. Nice floral hop aroma. Soapy floral hops taste, a bit thin in feel, but a good bit of citric acid right before the mild malty finish with lingering hop acidity. The soapiness was pretty pervasive, and kept this from being a nicely delicate APA. Not as bitter as Sierra Nevada; could have compensated, but didn’t. Overall, pretty average beer. Enjoyable for a session back by the pool table. CaryTheDude (1114), Longmont, Colorado, USA

Hazy amber color. Very hoppy aroma with some malt and caramel in there. I don’t pick up on the citrus; but, I do get a real dry chewiness. Great mouth. Satisfying with a clean pleasant finish. Superb session beer. Having a draught of this at Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse, Wis. USA
