Poured a lighter to medium amberish color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of caramel and citrus (orange peels). Tastes of citrus, fruity and a trace of caramel and grass. Overall this wasn’t a bad APA and did have a nice hoppiness to it. bu11zeye (5520), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 6, 2008 Draft pint at Angelic in Madison. Golden orange and slightly hazy in appearance. Frsh, juicy, gummy candy hop nose, and crisp on the lips with super clean pils-like malt, snappy. IPA-like hop levels, both in juiciness/fruitiness and in bitterness, with some sweet cherry flavored malts in the finish. Pretty good. Cornfield (4951), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 20, 2008 From the bottle this poured a hazy light amber body with a lot of minute particles in suspension. Nice head & lacing. At the base of the aroma are sweet pale malts, soon displaced by the fresh hop scents of grapefruit, pine, zest, and wildflowers. The fruity hops dominate the flavor, although the beer isn’t seriously bitter. All hops noted in the nose return for the lingering, moderately bitter finish. Quite nice.

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 19, 2006 Tap @ On Back In. Lightly hazed dark golden to light amber color with a moderate tight bubbled off-white head. Grapefruit and lightly toasted malt aromas in the forefront, with mild caramel and citrus along with just a hint of alcohol. I like the fact that they are calling this an APA vs. an IPA. The grain bill is much more appropriate for an APA, as most of the so called IPAs out there. Bold hops a mild malt base. Vary much a pure APA, which I must reward them for that. Yes, it is a hopshead brew, but it is an APA that is full of hops flavors and a mild bitter balance.
